Did a 1923 Flint exist?

Did the 1923 Flint exist, or were the first Flints sold as 1924 models?

[AQ] reports that production of the Flint began in June 1923, and that cars were produced at both the Locomobile plant in Long Island City and the new plant in Flint, Michigan.
[DFR], in its list of serial numbers, does not list a 1923 Flint, and indicates that production of the 1924 Flint began in August 1923 at serial number 100.
[Kimes] shows a 1923 E-55 touring in her book and gives the years of production as 1923 to 1927.
No 1923 sales brochure has yet been found.
