In some cases, the brochures were printed well in advance of production of the automobile. So the absolute accuracy of the information in these brochures can, at times, be suspect.

Instruction manuals provide information for the car owner about the operation and maintenance of a specific automobile.
Parts books
Parts books provide a list of the parts used in a specific automobile. The books typically list the Durant part number, a description of the part, and the quantity used in the car. Unfortunately, there are no diagrams or descriptions about how the parts fit together, although some Flint parts books do contain pictures of the parts. Some parts books provide a cross-reference showing the other models that a specific part fits.
