Special features

The seat back can be lowered, by removing two bolts, to turn the car into a bed (a "Pullman" feature). A March 1934 advertisement said the Standard Sedan came equipped with a radio and converted into a sleeping car in only three minutes; a surviving C-400 has the glove box but no radio. The US Continental Beacon had no glove box, and no Continental had a radio.
