Comments
This car has a documented history with the original title and bill of sale. It was built at the Oakland factory and was likely one of the very first cars made that year, possibly on January 1st. It was purchased at Grand Avenue Essex-Hudson Motors in Portland, Oregon on February 1, 1929 by Thomas B. Phillips of Post, Oregon. It was sold again, oddly enough, on February 1, 1960 to my uncle, J.J. Warden, for $200.00. I purchased the car 42 years later on March 22, 2002. The car has 38,300 miles.
